Järfälla Guidance centre is a newly started activity for adults ranging from 16 and upwards consisting of career advisors and social workers whose main task is to get people into actions like work or preferably studies. It started in July and is a organisation that tries to tailor-make education for adults with different needs bying these educations eg from different providers. They don´t have to buy actions from the municipality but from any where in both the public or private organisations to make the advice as successful as possible.

All adults are offered to study any where in the Stockholm county and not as we have experienced earlier just in our municipality. Adults may choose anything but the career advisors decides according to rules, regulations and budget. We make individual study plans.

We consider ourselves as a kind of "GPS" that help the adults to be lead after his or her needs and the study plan. We work with and can provide case studies as an asset for the project. We are specialised in leading motivating dialogues and making case studies. We are also good at intercultural awareness.

We have right now more than 50 percent of adults coming from other cultural backgrounds and many of them with special needs. They also need special treatment in advising but sometimes also assistance from the social workers ( younger ones ).
